Scaretissue is honored to welcome actor Chris Hahn today. Chris is a former WWF/WWE wrestler (Johnny Paradise) with over 21 years of experience in the business. Recently, he has starred as Gunnar Wolfgang Bunyan (or Paul Bunyan) in Syfy’s Axe Giant: The Wrath of Paul Bunyan. Chris was asked to wear a 65 pound full body suit for much of the film, and got to play 2 different roles. As a young Paul Bunyan, he resembles a Leatherface/Jason type of character. But as the years go on, he morphs into a troll like creature standing nearly 20 feet tall. Chris calls the experience filming it “one of the best experiences of my life”.Chris will be appearing at the Eerie Frequency Film, Toy, Comic, &Pop Culture Expo this weekend (aka Youngstown’s Comic Con. For more information, please go to http://www.eeriefrequencyexpo.com/.) alongside WWF great”Hacksaw” Jim Duggan and (Axe Giant’s director) Gary Jones. You can follow Chris on Facebook.
We asked Chris what movies haunted/inspired him, and these were his answers:
11. Halloween (1978)
10. Friday The 13th (1980)
9. A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984)

GREAT list! There are a couple on here that I’ve not seen yet (Axe Giant, Mama & The Possession) but the rest that are on here I certainly can’t argue with. I’m always shocked when Halloween is on one of these lists and is not in the top couple of spots, but that’s a personal preference 🙂
I remember seeing trailers for Mama and I was TOTALLY pumped to see it… and then I realized it was PG-13 so I never saw it. I’m just not sure how a horror movie… any horror movie… can be rated PG-13 and still pull out enough stops to make it a truly great film. That said, I still need to see it especially as I see it showing up on lists like this. Thanks so much to Chris Hahn for sending in this list!
