Death Walks is a zero budget horror film directed by Spencer Hawken starring stars Jessie Williams, Lucinda Rhodes-Flaherty, and Francesca Ciardi. It centers on a group of people trying to survive inside a shopping center that is under attack by the dead. Death Walks marks Francesca Ciardi’s first horror film since her role as Faye Daniels in the 1980 film Cannibal Holocaust.
Per the director Spencer Hawken, “It has a 100% honest zero budget, in that everyone contributed in anything other than cash. Actors donated time, crew donated time in exchange for experience, the location donated itself for exposure, and Asda, Subway and McDonalds fed our team for free during the shoot.”
In addition to Ciardi’s return to horror, Death Walks stars Jessie Williams (The Dumping Ground & Tracy Beaker Returns) in her first non child aimed project, Jordan Grehs (Lake Placid 3), Lucinda Rhodes (Cavegirl), and a barrel of other upcoming talent like Joanna Finata (Rush, Death Cult), Daniel Smales (Robin Hood) and Scott Mullins (Tennison).
The story follows an invasion of a shopping center by zombies, leaving those inside to battle for survival, with a seemingly unexpected lack of response from police. There are a number of twists and turns as the story evolves.
