Help Beacon Point Reach Their Kickstarter Stretch Goal

Beacon PointBeacon Point is a feature length thriller about a group of hikers on a 10 day hike of the Appalachian Trail. The group hikes deeper into the Great Smoky Mountains, and soon realize they are lost. Things start to go from bad to worse. They stumble across an ancient secret, the shadow people, that threatens their survival. It’s a wild ride and a real nail biter.

The film is directed by Eric Blue and was written by Blue and Traci Carroll.  They have a fully funded Kickstarter project that they are now trying to get to their stretch goal of $30,000.

Why do they need more funds?  Here’s the answer from the filmmaker:

“We are 80% completed with Beacon Point! It has already been shot and edited, and the movie looks AMAZING! The hard part is over. We just need a bit more money to really take our movie to the next level. We plan to use the money from this campaign to get world class visual FX, sound and color correction, and then share our movie with the world. You can be part of Beacon Point by pledging your support. Check it out! We have a ton of great prizes and pledge levels for you to chose from.”

I've been a fan of horror and slasher movies for as long as I can remember. I consider the original Halloween to be the best horror movie of all time and my guilty pleasure horror flick would be The Exorcist III. You can find me on Twitter at @406Northlane where I'm sure I'll offend you at least once a day.
