Rising Talent Gets Cast in a Feature Film
Los Angeles, California – Film actor John Kera (Out and About, Awakening) has been cast in a horror / comedy feature film entitled A Murderous Mariguana, written by Robert Ashwell. The film is about a group of teenagers who go to the desert to smoke an ancient herb and go on a spirit walk. While on their quest for self-realization their trip turns into a nightmare when they are faced with their mortality and the personification of their darkest fears.
The film stars actor Jeremy Miller (TVs Growing Pains, Aahh! Roach!!), with the direction of Robert Ashwell and Ron Althoff. Filming begins in late January of this year in Los Angeles. Kera is currently working on his YouTube travel series Out and About (www.youtube.com/c/JohnKera) for it’s first season as a host.
