The Girl on the Train is directed by Tate Taylor and written by Erin Cressida Wilson, based on Paula Hawkins’ 2015 novel of the same name. The film stars Emily Blunt, Rebecca Ferguson, Haley Bennett, Justin Theroux, Luke Evans, Édgar Ramírez, and Allison Janney. It is produced by Marc Platt and DreamWorks Pictures and will be distributed by Universal Pictures. The Girl on the Train will be released on October 7, 2016.
This may not be your traditional “horror” flick but based on the trailer treatment it looks like it’s going to be a suspenseful ride that I’m going to enjoy so I figured I’d pass it along. Any time there’s a flick that fits into the ScareTissue genre that I think I may be able to get my wife to watch with me I’m all over it 😉

Divorcee Rachel Watson takes the train to work every day and spends her commute fantasizing about a young couple living down the street from her ex-husband. One morning, she sees something shocking and finds herself entangled in a mystery that promises to forever alter the lives of everyone involved.
