Silent Retreat Released On iTunes In Canada

Silent Retreat 2016For the first time in Canada, Silent Retreat, an elevated genre horror creature feature by director Tricia Lee, is now available to own on iTunes.  Today, you can get the film that Ain’t It Cool News calls, “A tense little beast of a movie that has some powerfully terrifying moments”.  The film took home the Best Canadian Feature Award at the 2013 Toronto After Dark Film Festival and has been a best seller on DVD from Black Fawn Distribution here.

Silent Retreat Synopsis

When Janey Andrews (Chelsea Jenish) is sent to a silent meditation retreat in the middle of the woods for rehabilitation, she’s forced to follow a strict set of rules.  No talking.  No eye contact.  No interaction of any kind.  The doctor (Robert Nolan) who runs the facility doesn’t accept failure, but when Janey teams up with a fellow inmate, Alexis (Sofia Banzhaf) they realize he is hiding a terrible secret.  If Janey breaks the rules, she’ll have to face the punishment and discover what lurks just beyond the trees.
