Sophie Turner To Star In Supernatural Thriller Something In The Dark

Australian reality beauty and paparazzi favorite showcased in new project

Los Angeles, CA – July 30, 2013 – SOMETHING IN THE DARK, LLC announced today that actress and model, Sophie Turner, will star in the supernatural thriller, Something In The Dark.

Something In The Dark is about a pair of mysterious goggles that allow a blind woman (Turner) to see ghosts. But since they let her see real people, too, she is unable to distinguish between the living and the dead. She glimpses Death itself, and must discover why it has come for her.

An unusual aspect of this feature is its “talkless” format, where literally not a single word is spoken throughout the film. But unlike a true silent film, it still contains recorded sound. It merely lacks dialogue. The aim is to create a more involving and creepy experience which plays exactly the same to any audience, regardless of what language they speak, without distracting subtitles or voice dubbing. This is intended to be the next big trend since the “found footage” craze began with The Blair Witch Project and later, Paranormal Activity.

In addition to her countless prestigious modeling credits, as an actress, Ms. Turner recently completed The Devil’s Dozen, directed by Jeremy London and starring Eric Roberts and Jake Busey. She also holds a law degree from UCLA.

I've been a fan of horror and slasher movies for as long as I can remember. I consider the original Halloween to be the best horror movie of all time and my guilty pleasure horror flick would be The Exorcist III.
