Who Goes There Podcast Goes…Here!

Who Goes There Podcast Logo (White)In January of 2013, Scaretissue.com was launched by college friends chewie and pip for horror fans around the world.  It’s first post was a review of Saw, and soon the pages were peppered with reviews of many other fan favorite films.  Within six months, readership began increasing drastically.  Chewie managed to catch an early showing of The Conjuring and the horror community took notice.  Scaretissue.com began its rise.  Since then, we’ve graced DVD covers.  We’ve added multiple writers.  We’ve interviewed up and coming stars.  We’ve been to movie sets.  We’ve been noticed and mentioned by horror icons.

Scaretissue.com is becoming a premier horror site.

Today, I am proud to announce that we are adding another important piece to our machine.  Scaretissue.com would like to welcome the WHO GOES THERE PODCAST?! to its family of reviewers.

The Who Goes There Podcast?! is a west coast based, bi-weekly, all things horror themed podcast with a primary focus on horror film reviews.  Hosted by Jorge Gonzalez and Matt Smith (and the occasional special guest), each episode is sure to be packed with beer drinking, blue collar humor, wild rants, extreme cynicism and a horrible lack of preparation.

WGTP currently boasts a 20 episode library on iTunes (35 episodes total) over a 2 year period.  If I had to compare them to another podcast, they have a style very comparable to the immensely popular How Did This Get Made? podcast.  The duo works well together.  Jorge is the self described engine of the podcast, while Matt provides a comedic, cynical tone that makes the show fun.  They were the official podcast of the 2014 FANtastic Horror Film Festival.  You can follow the podcast on facebooktwitter, and instagram.

The addition of the Who Goes There?! Podcast allows both Scaretissue.com and the podcast leverage in building and maintaining audiences through multiple mediums.  WGTP will feature horror news and highlights from the Scaretissue.com page, and Scaretissue.com will feature and promote the podcast through its social media channels.  The relationship is poised to bring all parties to the forefront of horror news and reviews.

I love horror movies, and I have since I was young. My favorite genre is the zombie genre, but it has completely been overdone in the last few years. I'm not a big fan of the horror movie formula, and I love it when a director turns it on its head. Please follow me on twitter (@_trapjaw_) and like me on facebook (scaretissuetrapjaw) for updates and to be immediately informed of new posts/projects.

I’m only *slightly* horribly prepared.
