It came. It saw. It kicked some ass.
The 2019 Wizard World Cleveland Comic Con was this past weekend and by all accounts was once again a huge success. Fans gathered at the Huntington Convention Center from Friday March 8th through the 10th to see celebrities, cosplay, and to celebrate a piece of themselves that just refuses to grow up. We were once again lucky enough to cover the event. I’m super excited to announce that Wizard World Comic Con Cleveland will return once again next year, March 6th through the 8th, 2020! Mark your calendars Cleveland!
As has been the case in past years the event schedule was packed with guests, artist alley, shopping, cosplay, workshops, gaming and panels. I have to make special mention of the cosplayers in attendance. Both the pros and the fans were decked out to the nines in some of the best costumes I’ve ever seen. Walking through the exhibit space I saw families from all walks of life, a SLEW of kids with their parents, single guys, single gals and couples. It was truly awesome to see so many folks coming together to celebrate comics and pop culture.
Jason Momoa had to cancel last year’s event but he was the headliner this year commanding top dollar and HUGE lines. A guest list filled with other celebs, creators and vendors and it was truly an outstanding event with a little something for everyone.
Check out just some of the photos I took below. I’m already looking forward to next year!
Huge thanks to Jerry from Wizard World for being so awesome before and up through the event.
