Horror Makes Us Happy’s 6th Anniversary

The Horror Makes Us Happy podcast will be celebrating their 6th anniversary on May 1st this year with a new theme song, a new live interview format, and a book and DVD giveaway!

Horror Makes Us Happy

Their new theme song was donated by a fan and rerecorded by cohost Steve Becker, with the vocals kindly provided by the former frontman of a very well-known rock band who unfortunately can’t be named for contractual reasons. The new song will be posted as a standalone piece on their Youtube and Spotify channels, and will be the outro for future interviews. Their intro music, another piece written and recorded by Steve Becker and cohost Chris Whitman, will remain.

Former guests of the podcast are now also joining Chris and Steve for new Youtube Live Chats where they can share what they’ve been up to since their full-length interview, which followed the more psychological deep-dive format. These will be weekly events, every Sunday at 7:30pm Eastern, fourteen have already been released.

And last but not least, their book and DVD giveaway will include multiple books signed by their authors, former guests on the podcast. Registration for the giveaway will be done by signing up for their mailing list, the link for which can be found on their website, https://HorrorMakesUsHappy.com. A list of the books and DVDs have been released on social media, including their BlueSky account.

I've been a fan of horror and slasher movies for as long as I can remember. I consider the original Halloween to be the best horror movie of all time and my guilty pleasure horror flick would be The Exorcist III. You can find me on X at @406Northlane or TikTok @406Northlane where I'm sure I'll offend you at least once a day.
