Indie Film Debuts At Inaugural International Vampire Film And Arts Festival
SEDONA, AZ (May 5, 2016) – Aaron’s Blood, a new indie film starring James Martinez (Breaking Bad, Side Effects), Michael Chieffo (LA Confidential, Argo), Farah White (Miss Congeniality) and Trevor Stovall (Sedona), will make its world premiere at the inaugural International Vampire Film and Arts Festival in Sighisoara, Transylvania within the walls of the dramatic medieval citadel that was the birthplace to the real Vlad Dracula.
Aaron’s Blood is the third feature film from writer/director Tommy Stovall of Sedona, AZ and his first to involve vampires. Stovall also produced the film along with producer Marc Sterling under their banner Pasidg Productions. Completely self-financed, the film was shot entirely in the Verde Valley of Northern Arizona.
In the film, single father Aaron fights to save his hemophiliac 12-year-old son Tate after becoming infected with vampire blood. Desperate and running out of time, Aaron enlists the help of a skilled vampire hunter and embarks on a frantic search to find the source of the infection before it’s too late.
The International Vampire Film and Arts Festival takes place May 26-29, 2016, bringing together vampire media-makers from across the World in one cross-industry festival, an intense four-day program of film screenings, networking events and parties. This one of a kind festival will celebrate the world’s most enduring and influential horror genre in film, television, literature, theatre, games and new media. Aaron’s Blood will screen at 8:00 pm on Friday, May 27.
