Animated Horror Posters Brings Art To Life

Basket Case Animated GifOne of the creepiest things I’ve seen on the internet in the last few years are images with slight movement to them.  They’re never quite obvious that they’re animated, and seeing a strand of hair flowing behind a beautiful woman is just…unsettling.

It was only a matter of time before these animations were applied to horror movie posters.

Sam Coyne is a 22 year old graphic designer from Nottingham, England.  He recently unveiled a series of classic horror movie posters redone with animation, and they are just phenomenal.  Take a look, and I definitely want to see this trend continue!

You can support Sam and his work by purchasing his work on Redbubble.  Keep up the great work Sam!

I love horror movies, and I have since I was young. My favorite genre is the zombie genre, but it has completely been overdone in the last few years. I'm not a big fan of the horror movie formula, and I love it when a director turns it on its head.
