Dervish Pictures, the production company of writer/producer/director Scott Feinblatt has dropped its first teaser trailer for the upcoming feature horror film, Devil’s Cabaret.
The film revolves around five women who are sentenced to perform at a cabaret in hell. Each is forced to recall the circumstances that led to her fate. In this feature-length collection of devilish stories, the tales reveal restless apparitions, homicidal white noise, satanic sacrifices, deadly degradation, and cosmic horrors.
The film stars Ana Bergman, Ginger Fatale, Delaney Jordan, Ruby Martinez, and Cinda Starr. Also featured are Jeffrey Damnit, Brett Gustafson, and Lourvey Bourdan.
The film’s original score and songs were composed and performed by T.O.M. and 72 Demons. The T.O.M. song “Hell Yeah,” was written specifically as an accompaniment to the trailer, and it will be featured in its entirety on the film’s soundtrack (the trailer features an abbreviated version). Both the film and the soundtrack are scheduled for release in early 2025.

The Origin of Devil’s Cabaret
Devil’s Cabaret is the third feature horror film of writer/producer/director Scott Feinblatt. For Summer People (2008), he explored the horror trope of a cabin full of young adults tampering with supernatural forces. Outtake Reel (2011) showcased his unique take on the found footage subgenre. And, with his latest film, he uses the anthology format to provide unique spins on a number of horror subgenres.
In the time since his most recent horror project, the short film Tuning In, Tuning Out (2012), Feinblatt has immersed himself in the Southern California horror community. As a journalist and photographer, he has covered horror conventions, dark and experimental theatrical performances, and various additional types of horror-infused art and attractions for numerous horror and non-horror publications. Over the past 12 years, he has been editor-in-chief for Diabolique Magazine; he founded and edited the Horror Works blog; and he has contributed to numerous other horror magazines and blogs (including Rue Morgue, Fangoria, Screem, Delirium, and Dread Central among others).
Most of the Devil’s Cabaret cast consists of performers that Feinblatt met while covering events within the SoCal horror community. These events include several horror-themed burlesque performances, which gave him the idea to base an anthology of horror stories around the backstories of five women who are forced to dance in Hell for eternity.
Feinblatt enthused about his latest project. “I knew I wanted to get something off the ground in 2022, so throughout the year, I came up with several story ideas that I thought were great. However, when I came up with the concept for Devil’s Cabaret, that was it; I knew it was the one. Several months later, I started shooting.;
“Each of the principals performs a dance number and is then featured in her respective story, so it was important that all of them had backgrounds in dance,” he added. “In the end, what I have is five very unique stories — each featuring its own distinctly-themed dance number — and an additional framing story to tie everything together. I’m very happy with the way everything turned out, and I look forward to sharing it with the world.”
