Set against the backdrop of a secluded countryside town, Someone Sinister follows Daniella as she’s faced with her mother’s mortality. Deciding to put aside the traumas of her upbringing to reconnect one last time, she discovers a much darker side of the family. As people start to disappear and a Demon Hunter is drawn to their sleepy town, Daniella must decide between saving her own life or the one that gave it to her.
In a rebuke to the current state of Hollywood, Sefecit Films are raising money to fund the feature film on Indiegogo to the tune of $30,000. “It’s important to us to partner with the audience directly in order to create this film together,” says Producer Michael Leach. “With opportunities to take ownership in the project by contributing to set dec or playing a voice on the other side of the phone, we want the community’s stamp on this film and to share our dream and our vision of the project with them”
Led by an ensemble of rising stars, including Desiree Smith, Carla Turner, and Evan Towell, Someone Sinister brings to life a gripping narrative infused with suspense, action, and existential questions.
