Don’t call it a comeback, but Tom Sizemore (Saving Private Ryan, Black Hawk Down, Heat) appears to be making one. After some well publicized drug and personal issues Sizemore is shooting the Russell Crowe / Liam Neeson film called Felt, was just cast in Mark Wahlberg’s television series Shooter and is set to star in and produce the upcoming The Incurables. Written by Jack Reher and Jean-Marie Sobeck, the film is based on New York Times-best selling novel by Jon Bassoff. Sizemore will play Walter Freeman, who pioneered the transorbital lobotomy by using some some interesting instruments: icepick and a hammer. Reher is set to direct the film with Scott Milam set to co-produce the film.
You may recognize Reher’s name from last years’s Grizzly Maze, which stars Billy Bob Thornton. He also penned Don’t Look There, an upcoming horror thriller about a female clinical psychologist who’s life spirals out of control as she assists the police hunt a serial killer and she treats a new patient.
