Wizard World Comic Con was in Cleveland this past weekend and I’m honored to have once again been in attendance representing ScareTissue. The show was held at the Huntington Convention Center from Friday, March 2nd through Sunday, March 4th 2018. There wasn’t a “ton” of horror in the house but it was certainly well represented both in vendors as well as guests.
As has been the case in past years the event schedule was packed with guests, artist alley, shopping, cosplay, workshops, gaming and panels. This was the first year I’ve attended the show on Sunday and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with not only how many people were there on the final day of the event but how in to the show the exhibitors continued to be. If you’ve been to many cons you know that many times on the last day folks are just trying to get out of there. The final day DOES lend itself to some great shopping as many times vendors are trying to unload stuff so they don’t have to pack it up and take it home.
I’m super excited to announce that Wizard World Comic Con Cleveland will return once again next year, March 8th through the 10th, 2019! Mark your calendars Cleveland!
Even with huge names Stan Lee and Jason Momoa having to cancel, the guest list was packed with the likes of David Tennant, Jason David Frank, Ezra Miller, Ray Fisher, Gareth David Lloyd, Charisma Carpenter, Jon Heder, Thomas Ian Nicholas and many more. Couple that with a SLEW of creators and vendors and it was an outstanding event.
Check out just some of the photos I took below. We had an absolutely awesome time and I’m already looking forward to next year!
Huge thanks to Jerry from Wizard World for being so awesome before and up through the event.
