PSYCHOLOGICAL HORROR FEATURE MOUSER ARRIVES JULY 14 FROM BREAKING GLASS PICTURES

Breaking Glass Pictures is proud to announce the upcoming release of the psychological horror feature MOUSER, arriving July 14, 2026 across Amazon, Fandango, Dish, iNDEMAND, and additional VOD platforms.
Blurring the line between hallucination and reality, MOUSER follows Eleanor, a mentally unstable young woman struggling to maintain control after a night out triggers a disturbing psychological spiral. When she begins experiencing vivid encounters with a sinister talking cat named Mouser, her perception of reality quickly unravels—pulling her into a surreal and increasingly violent descent where nothing can be trusted.
Written and directed by Mary Gallagher, the film stars Romina Valenti (Eleanor), Gavin O’Fearraigh (Ian), Stephen Moeller (Mouser), Michel Biel, Anastasia Lutz, Emma Cat, Maria Abreu, Chris Fisher, David Singleton, and Eugene Gallagher.
The film explores themes of psychological breakdown, paranoia, hallucination, and identity fracture through a surreal horror lens, blending dream logic with escalating tension and psychological dread.
“I wanted to explore how fear and unresolved trauma can influence our choices. Mouser suggests that our greatest struggles are often internal, and I hope audiences leave questioning how fear can distort and control our lives,” says Mary Gallagher
As Eleanor’s night spirals further out of control, she finds herself trapped between waking life and hallucination, as Mouser begins to influence her actions in increasingly disturbing ways. As reality fractures completely, the line between delusion and truth disappears—culminating in a shocking confrontation that may not be the end of her nightmare.
“MOUSER is exactly the kind of bold, unsettling independent filmmaking we champion at Breaking Glass Pictures,” said Rich Wolff, CEO of Breaking Glass Pictures. “Mary Gallagher delivers a fearless psychological horror experience that pulls audiences deep into a fractured reality and doesn’t let go. It’s surreal, provocative, and unforgettable—everything great genre cinema should be.”
Breaking Glass Pictures continues its commitment to bold independent genre storytelling with MOUSER, a chilling new entry in psychological horror that challenges perception and reality.
