Friday The 13th The Game - Official Release Trailer!

The last time I bought a new console system I was in college. That console? Nintendo 64. Since that time I’ve logged so few hours in front of a gaming system that I can most likely count them on one hand and the overwhelming majority of that time has been spent with my kids on the Wii. That’s not to say I don’t still love gaming. Far from it. It’s just that there really hasn’t been much that has really got me so interested to make me devote my very limited free time to it.

That may be about to change. Jason Voorhees is coming…

Friday the 13th: The Game is the highly-anticipated horror game where you will finally be able to take on the roll of Jason Voorhees and Camp Crystal Lake counselors. It will give you the chance to kill or be killed on Friday the 13th! According to the official website f13game.com, “The game is a third-person horror, survival game where players take on the role of a teen counselor, or for the first time ever, Jason Voorhees. You and six other unlucky souls will do everything possible to escape and survive while the most well-known killer in the world tracks you down and brutally slaughters you.”

The game is set at Camp Crystal lake which has been meticulously re-created by the development team including Creator & Designer Wes Keltner, Executive Producer Tom Savini, Motion Capture Actor (and Jason Voorhees himself) Kane Hodder, Composer Harry Mandfredini and many more.
