ST Interviews Lucky McKee

This Halloween, you’ve got to check out the new anthology horror movie Tales of Halloween.  The movie features 11 stories from 10 different directors (as well as featuring a who’s who cast of independent film today).  I personally loved the movie, and I got a chance to sit down and talk to director Lucky McKee about his cult film May, his segment Ding Dong, and even a little Star Wars.

It was definitely an honor to interview Lucky.  I hold May in high regard:  The ending to that movie may be one of the best I’ve seen in my life.  Lucky found this amusing and we talked about the other films in his library as well.  I even touched a little on the controversy that The Woman seems to carry with it.  I’d like to thank Lucky for taking the time to answer my questions and talk about his work.

I love horror movies, and I have since I was young. My favorite genre is the zombie genre, but it has completely been overdone in the last few years. I'm not a big fan of the horror movie formula, and I love it when a director turns it on its head.
