Northeast Ohio is currently buried in snow and frozen in sub zero temperatures, but it is bracing for an invasion this weekend: the 2015 Wizard World Comic Con Cleveland will invade the Cleveland Convention Center starting this Friday (February 20, 2015). Comic Con Cleveland will feature many celebrities and artists in both film, screen, and the pages of comics including horror icons Bruce Campbell, Robert Kurtzman, and many others.
The full slate of guests can be found HERE.
For Scaretissue purposes, I’ll be focusing on the horror side of the event. However, there’s stuff here for the entire family including meeting and watching a karate demonstration by former Green Ranger Jason David Frank. William Shatner is always interesting for kids of all ages, as is the Delorean from Back to the Future. Every 80s kid loved Lou Ferrigno‘s Hulk persona. 2015 is the first year that a network television station has not aired Saturday morning cartoons since 1960, animator/director Tom Cook pays tribute to the shows that shaped our youth every Saturday morning. If you’re looking to possibly start a family, the popular speed dating program Love Is In The Air returns in hopes of helping you find that someone special. And, of course, cosplay will rule the aisles of vendors and guests.
Standard admission is sold out to the event, but VIP admission is still available. All VIP attendees will receive (2) limited-edition, exclusive cover variants of The Walking Dead #1 by Greg Horn (who will be available for autographs), an exclusive VIP pass that allows attendees early access to the show, as well as guest specific perks that include autograph line jumps, meet and greets, and access to certain events. The general VIP pass is $199.99 and comes with 3 day admission.

We hope to see you out there!
