The 17th Annual Tromadance Film Festival will take place Friday July 29th and Saturday July 30th at The Paper Box in Brooklyn. It’s 100% FREE to enter! We will also have after parties both nights with suggested donations of $15.
The 17th Annual Tromadance Film Festival
The Paper Box. 17 Meadow St. Brooklyn, NY (Grand stop on the L train).
Four feature films and forty short movies from all over the world will screen over the course of the festival, including the Drafthouse Film’s documentary “Raiders! The Story of the Greatest Fan Film Ever Made”, one of Rowdy Roddy Piper’s final acting roles in “Portal to Hell”, and acclaimed animated work form John Dilworth and Ukinojoe.
Our film making panel, “Getting Your Movie Made in the Age of P.C. Police” will be moderated by Lloyd and Pat Kaufman and will feature actor Henry Zebrowski (Netflix’s “The Characters”, The Wolf of Wall Street), Ken Hanley (Editor-In-Cheif of Fangoria Magazine), and producer Rose Ganguzza (Kill Your Darlings, Afterschool, Margin Call).
We have great after parties lined up for both nights and will feature five bands in total. Night one, see “The Brooklyn Barnyard Backdoor Bash” with The Cowmen, Monkey Pudding Face, and MooseKnuckle! Night two, experience Alan Merrill (original performer and writer of the hit song “I Love Rock & Roll”) and Tragedy: All Metal Tribute to the Bee Gees and Beyond.
