As we announced previously, ScareTissue is proud to once again be able to provide coverage of the Wizard World Comic Con in Cleveland! It was held at the Huntington Convention Center March 17th through the 19th, 2017.
There were a slew of great guests, artists and activities planned. I was a little bit worried that the show kicked off on St. Patrick’s Day which is essentially the biggest drinking day in the city but I’m excited to say that it didn’t appear to dampen the crowd or the even – it was outstanding! I’m pleased to announce that Wizard World Comic Con Cleveland will return, March 23rd through the 25th, 2018! Mark your calendars Cleveland!
The event was packed with Q&A sessions, panels featuring Anthony Mackie, Jewel Staite, Millie Bobby Brown, Gene Simmons (KISS), Dean Cain and others, video gaming tournaments, costume contests, after parties and cosplay galore! Saturday evening featured a screening of TheRocky Horror Picture Show hosted by star Barry Bostwick and there were appearances by WWE Superstars Becky Lynch and WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle.
